Bio:
Hi! I am a political economist and an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Houston-Downtown. I am also a Visiting Scholar in Mixed Methods and Qualitative Research for Prosperity Lab and a Visiting Professor of Political Economy at Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala.
My research focuses on the political economy of property rights in Latin America. I integrate formal theory and mixed methods to highlight the impact of property rights on political development. I argue that property rights are not only economic, but are also political institutions.
