Bio:

Hi! I am a political economist and an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Houston-Downtown. 

My research focuses on the political economy of property rights in Latin America. I integrate formal theory and mixed methods to highlight the impact of property rights on political development. I argue that property rights are not only economic institutions, but are also political.
